Ayushmann Khurrana Tried Nine Hairstyles For Hawaizaada
Hawaizaada, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Sharda, is set in the 19th century. Naturally, one of the challenges of making the film was staying true to that period — be it recreating the Bombay of 1895 or designing the right costumes. Needless to say, director Vibhu Virender Puri and his team did extensive research.

"My costume designer Sahil Kochhar had to design outfits according to the fabrics and colours available in that era. We made sure we didn't use any nylon outfits as it had not been invented then. Similarly, the colour pink wasn't used then. Also, we did many look tests for both Ayushmann and Mithun. We even tried out nine different hairdos before zeroing in on Ayushmann's hairstyle," says Vibhu.

In a bid to depict that era, the team also had to recreate several antiques. He adds, "Many artefacts that we read about aren't available in this day and age. So, we used our imagination and recreated them. We even designed the plane based on how it was described in the books."

Hawaizaada, presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Trilogic Digital Media and Film Farmers Motion Picture Company, releases January 30.

Ali Fazal Appalled By News Of His Scene Being Edited Out Of 'Khamoshiyan'?
Ali Fazal was in for a shock very recently when a news of a scene between Debina Choudhary and him was edited out of the movie Khamoshiyan. While Ali has been busy promoting the film across the country, Ali learned of this through his friends and fans on twitter. News reports claimed that; Gurmeet Choudhary who plays the parallel lead in the movie and is husband of Debina wasn't comfortable with the scenes between Ali and his wife.

Ali clarified, "Debina and I have a very small scene together where she plays my ex-girlfriend. The news which claims that I have an intimate scene is both appalling and false. There is no validation or truth because I never shot any such scene with Debina. So editing out such a scene which literally doesn't exist is far from the truth. Plus no actor is involved in the editing of Khamoshiyan. That  was completely left unto Karan Darra, Mahesh Bhatt, Vikram Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.''

Also starring Sapna Pabbi, Khamoshiyan releases on 30th January.
