Kill Dil's opening day is 14th Highest of 2014 just below Mary Kom and
Ragini MMS 2 and just ahead of Heropanti and Main Tera hero.
While Kill Dil 's first day is decent it is much lower than Ranveer Singh's recent hits Ram Leela and Gunday.
Opening Day Comparison:
Ram Leela: 15.5 Crore
Gunday: 15.1 Crore
Kill Dil: 6.69 Crore
With this cast Trade was expecting an opening in double digits .
Multiplexes were good but single screens were not.
Delhi / NCR and central India were good while rest of india was average.
It remains to be seen how much of a growth happens over the weekend.
