Arjun Kapoor to play Kapil Dev onscreen!
You might soon also get to see Arjun Kapoor essaying the role of Kapil Dev in another cricket based film. Yes! Vishnu Vardhan Induri, the founder and MD of the Celebrity Cricket League is plotting a biopic on India’s first World Cup win in 1983. And we now hear that Arjun is in talks to play the role of Kapil- the hero in this World Cup venture.
Now isn’t that something?
A source close to the film spoke to a leading daily and said, “Arjun will be the right choice to play Kapil. Induri has met him and he is seriously considering the offer.”
Well, it remains to see if the Tevar actor will finally sign the deal or no. But if at all he does, this would be one challenging push for Arjun in Bollywood.
