‘Badlapur’ has second best opening of 2015
The film had the second best opening of the year so far, after ‘Roy’ last week. It had an opening of up to 30% at multiplexes but the single screens this morning were pretty dull, according to Box Office India.

The higher points were witnessed at Mumbai and Pune multiplexes. Single screens were low with Gujarat and UP experiencing the lowest figures today. However, the film’s low cost may equate to decent business overall from collections at multiplexes.
‘Roy’ has not been able to sustain numbers and has proved a box office disappointment despite a good opening day.
