Gabbar is Back is a Hindi Action Drama film directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Featuring Akshay Kumar in the title role, the film is a remake of the 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa directed by A. R. Murugadoss with Vijayakanth in the lead. Shruti Haasan Jaideep Ahlawat and Ishita Vyas did supporting roles,and Kareena Kapoor Khan appears in a cameo. The film was released on 1 May 2015.
The film has now surpassed the lifetime collections of Shamitabh which collected 20.07 crores at the domestic box office. Also, Gabbar is Back has now evicted Alone from the Top 10 list of 2015′s Highest Grossing
