First Week is 15th Highest first week of 2015 ahead of movies like Bombay Velvet and Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
In comparison Heropanti, the Tiger Shroff debut movie which had a very similar weekend had a Monday of 4 Crore and then stayed strong to hit the 50 Crore mark.
Overseas:
Thursday + Friday $350,000 or Rs 2.32 Crores which is a decent number for a newcomer movie but in USA Hero is currently dull
Hero has opened well in mass areas MP Rajasthan and Bihar but some parts of North India especially Delhi and Punjab are lower
Mega promotions by Salman Khan himself has ensured that Hero opened very well. The song sung by Salman Khan has become a hit and has also ensured an opening for hero.
Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's Hero had a very good opening day at India Box Office.
For Hero Friday is at similar levels as Drishyam which is 13th highest opening day of 2015 and bigger than movies like Bombay Velvet and Piku.
