Budget: 30 Cr inclusive of prints and advertising cost
Satellite rights have been sold for the movie at Rs 8 Cr
Music and Overseas have given a recovery of Rs 4 Cr
Movie will recover its cost if it collects some where between 36-40 Cr to achieve a distribution share of 18 Cr.
At 40 Cr it will be considered a hit.

As with all movies starring female protagonists Jazbaa depends completely on word of mouth .
Jazbaa has primarily collected in Mumbai and Delhi/UP and that too in top cities outside of which it is struggling.
If word of mouth is good enough it should grow on Saturday and have a decent chance but if growth is not there it will struggle at box office.
Plus for the movie is that competition is low as Singh is Bliing is also struggling and their is no competition in next week.
Bit of a problem with Jazbaa is that it faces strong competition in multiplexes with another Irfan starrer Talvar.
Records [Trade Figure]:
1.) For Jazbaa First Weekend box office collection is 21st highest of 2015 which is just lower than Bombay Velvet and Katti batti.
2.) For Aishwarya Rai this is her 5th highest opening weekend ever in her career behind Dhoom 2, Raavan, Sarkar Raj and Action replayy
3.) In women oriented movies Jazbaa had a lower weekend than Mardaani which had collected 14.44 crores but more than NH 10 which had collected 13 crores
1.) First day Box Office Collection of Jazbaa is 22nd Highest of 2015 ahead of movies like Ek paheli Leela and Shamitabh but below that of movies like Mr X and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy
