Production Cost 75 Cr and Prints and Advertising Costs 17 Cr.
Music, Satellite and Overseas has given a recovery of 51 Cr to the producers.
To recover the remaining cost movie must do a business of approx 82-88 Cr which should give it the distributor share of 41 Cr and comfortably make it profitable .
Distributor share depends on single screens vs multiplex distribution and also whether collections are coming in first week or second week.
At 92 Cr it will be considered a Hit.
Singh is Bling has opened very well and is Akshay Kumar's highest ever opener ahead of Rowdy Rathore and also second highest opening day of 2015 behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
The opening day number is exactly where most of the trade expected Singh is Bling to open making this a par opening for the holiday.
Singh is Bling was also effected slightly in late night shows due to India South Africa T20 match.

1.) First Weekend box office collections of Singh is Bliing are 5th Highest of 2015 behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Welcome Back , Brothers and ABCD 2. ( As per producer figures this is second highest opening weekend of 2015)
2.) For Akshay Kumar this is his 3rd Highest opening weekend of his career behind Brothers and Rowdy Rathore ( As per producer figures this is his highest opening weekend ever)
3.) For Prabhu Deva this is his second highest opening weekend of his career after Rowdy Rathore.
On Sunday Singh is Bling went up by 12% from Saturday which is decent but lower than expected.
The opening weekend is a little lower than trade expectations and is lower than Brothers.
Singh is Bling has got a strong Punjabi feel and lack of hit music which means that it struggled in aress outside of North especillay Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Difference between Singh is Bliing and Brothers looks like that Singh is Bliing should sustain in North India while Brothers went off completely all over India after the first weekend.
