Actual budget including all the costs is Rs 24 Cr.

This is the highest ever budget for the Hate Story movie series.
Since adult movies are not allowed on satellite without cuts it will not get anything from satellite markets with overseas also likely to be lower.

Hate Story 3 has gotten an advantage of tamasha struggling on weekdays and has gotten a wide release.
Interestingly the original Hate story had released in only 1078 screens while Hate Story 2 had released in 1955 screens while this one has reached 2690 screens.
Hate Story 3 has opened much better at small towns and mass centers which is where movies tend to do well.
Mass Hindi Circuits like Bihar, UP and Madhya Pradesh were extraordinarily well with collections 1.5 times that of what Tamasha collected there on its opening day.
The First day is 17th Highest of 2015 but is almost double of what Hate Story 2 collected on its first day.
First day is similar to what Sunny Leone's Ragini MMS 2 collected last year.
Hate Story 3 is a very popular series of movies made on a low budget and each movie in the series has done better than the previous one.
Hate Story 3 had an added advantage of good songs which were promoted better due to its higher budget than previous versions.
