David Dhawan's Directional venture Judwaa 2 is a sequel of Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor & Rambha starrer 1997 super hit film Judwaa, which also directed David Dhawan. The film features Varun Dhawan in a double role as estranged twins opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
Judwaa 2 is slated to hit the screens on 29th September, 2017.
The film marks the 2nd collaboration between father son duo, David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan after Main Tera Hero.
Varun Dhawan was last seen in Shashank Khaitan directorial Badrinath Ki Dulhania which released on 10 March 2017 and the film crossed 100 crore at the box office.
Judwaa 2 marks the Taapsee Pannu's second collaboration with David Dhawan, who gave her a debut role in Chashme Baddoor. With this film, another entertaining side of Taapsee Pannu’s acting skills will be seen after intense dramas like Baby, Pink and Naam Shabana.
Judwaa 2’s another female lead Jacqueline Fernandez will next be seen in Raj & D. K’s action-comedy film A Gentleman, where she stars opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The film is scheduled to release on 25 August 2017.
