‘Haseena Parkar‘ is directed Apoorva Lakhia, who previously helmed ‘Zanjeer‘ and ‘Mission Istaanbul‘. In This film real brother-sister Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor play lead roles. The film is set to release on 22 September, 2017 release.
Haseena Parkar is based on the life of underworld don terrorist Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar Played by Shraddha Kapoor. Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai marks Shraddha's first female protagonist venture as she is essaying the title role. Shraddha Kapoor's real brother, Siddhanth portrays the role of terrorist Dawood Ibrahim and Ankur Bhatia plays the role of Haseena's husband.
This is the first time Shraddha Kapoor will be sharing screen space with her brother Siddhanth Kapoor.
Shraddha Kapoor’s last film was a new age love story, Half Girlfriend had a decent lifetime collection at the box office. This was the 1st time Shraddha kapoor and Arjun kapoor shared the screen for Half Girlfriend. The film was directed by Mohit Suri.
