Ravi Udyawar's Mom is the 300 film of Sridevi and releasing in the 50 year of her film career.

Mom is a thriller-drama film revolving around Sridevi's character. Devki [Played By Sridevi] is a admiring wife and a mom of two daughters. Yet, anyway the true happiness of being a mother baffle her. Arya a conscious teen girl can not accept Devki as a mothes. Arya accept a daughter comes into a mothers’s life, but a mother does not enter the life of a daughter. Devki ask Sridevi patiently waits for Arya’s love and acceptance as she believes only a mother can truly understand the silence of her child. An adverse incident further distances Devki and Arya, to a point of no return. In such a situation a mother has to make a choice not between what is wrong or right but between what is wrong and very wrong.

‘Mom‘ is directed by Ravi Udyawar and the film stars Sridevi, Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna in the lead with music composed by A. R. Rahman.

Sridevi was last seen in Gauri Shinde's directorial English Vinglish which released on 5 October 2012 and the film done very well at the box office.
