Saaho Budget & First Day Box Office Collection: Record Breaking Opening
First day box office collection of The Prabhas & Shraddha Kapoor starrer much-hyped Saaho has taken a flying start at the box office across the globe. The collections are a little bigger than predicted number of 20-22 crores in Hindi Version. Saaho has collected approx 24.40 crore on day 1 in Hindi Version at the box office.
It is about undercover officer Ashok Chakravarthy (Prabhas), who is investigating a 2,000 crore robbery. Along with Amirta (Shraddha Kapoor), he is chasing thief Jai (Neil Nitin Mukesh), whose robbery is linked to Waaji City that has heavily armed underworld don Roy (Jackie Shroff) and his rival Devraj (Chunkey Pandey). How Ashok uses an arsenal of weapons to battle the gang forms the crux of its story.
The Multilingual film Saaho Released around 2700 screens in South India [550 screens Tamil Nadu ] and 4000 in Hindi Belt. Saaho has opened exceptionally well in Telugu Languages states of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as well as Telugu version in Karnataka but the Tamil version is weaker in Tamil Nadu and Kerala is average. The early predictions coming from the trade say that Sujeeth Direction venture Saaho has made a collection of 4 crore in Tamil Nadu, which is much lesser than neighbouring state Karnataka where it is grossed over 10 crore.
Meanwhile, the worldwide estimate collection of Saaho is said to be over 100 crore, thereby becoming the biggest opener of 2019. With the movie getting negative reviews, it has to be seen how it performs in the next one week which is crucial for its success.
The film has got mixed review and rating from audience, as it failed to meet their expectations.
