Chhalaang is an Indian Hindi language Social-Comedy film. Directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, Bhushan Kumar & Ankur Garg under the banner of Ajay Devgn Ffilms, T-Series Super Cassettes Industries Ltd & Luv Films. The film features Rajkummar Rao & Nushrat Bharucha in lead role. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was not released theatrically and it was streamed worldwide on Amazon Video on 13 November, 2020 [India].

Chhalaang is a Social-Comedy film it has been directed by Hansal Mehta. Hansal Mehta announced the film on 10 August, 2018 with the title "Turram Khan" and Rajkummar Rao in the lead role opposite Nushrat Bharucha. In 2019, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub joined the film to portray a supporting role. In December 2019, the title of the film was changed to "Chhalaang",which means "Jump".
Initially planned for release on 31 January 2020, it was announced on 26 December 2019 that the film has been postponed to 13 March 2020. It was further scheduled to 12 June 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was again postponed. Finally it was released on 13 November 2020 on Amazon Prime Video coinciding with Diwali.

The song "Deedar De" is a recreation of "Deedar De" from the film Dus by Vishal–Shekhar.People online criticized Vishal-Shekhar for recreating their song, but the duo clarified that they did not recreate the song, they were credited because they composed the original.

Chhalaang is a hilarious, yet inspirational journey of a PT Master from a semi government funded school in Northern India. Montu (Rajkummar Rao) is a typical PT Master for whom it’s just a job. When circumstances put everything that Montu cares for at stake, including Neelu (Nushrratt Bharuccha) who he loves, Montu is forced to do what he has never done - Teach. Through Montu’s journey, Chhalaang humorously addresses the value of Sports Education in school curriculum.
