First day box office collection of War takes a heroic start. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff along with Vaani Kapoor, War has started off its box office run on a thunderous note. In fact, early business estimates state that the film might in all likelihood, rake in approximately 53.35 crore.
War has received a U/A certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 02.36 hours. War that is directed by Siddharth Anand promises to be an all-out action entertainer. The film has received positive review and ratings from the audience around the world and it get a massive advance booking rate.
The Aditya Chopra's production action thriller film War has becomes the highest opening day grosser bollywood film of 2019 and beats Salman Khan starrer Bharat, and only slightly behind Avengers End Game.
This is the Highest ever opening day in the career of both Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
Collecting 53.35 crore, War has emerged as the highest opening day grosser of 2019 and the film has beaten the collections of previous releases like, Bharat that collected 42.3 crore, Mission Mangal that collected 29.16 crore, Saaho [Hindi] that collected 24.4 crore, Kalank that collected 21.6 crore, and Kesari that had collected 21.06 crore.
War has recorded better opening day figures than Hrithik’s previous films like Bang Bang that collected 27.54 crore, Krrish 3 that collected 25 crore, Agneepath that collected 23 crore, Super 30 that collected 11.83 crore, and Kaabil that had collected 10.43 crore.
War collected 53.35 crore on Day 1 has managed to beat Tiger’s previous release Baaghi 2 that had collected 25.1 crore to emerge highest opening day grosser. The opening day business of War has seen considerably better collections than Tiger’s previous releases like Student of the Year 2 that collected 12.06 crore, Baaghi that collected 11.94 crore, A Flying Jatt that collected 7.1 crore, Munna Michael that collected 6.65 crore, and Heropanti that had collected 6.63 crore.
It is about Indian soldier Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), who has worked as a special agent. After he becomes a rogue, his student Khalid (Tiger Shroff) is assigned to eliminate. The reason for Kabir to turn a rogue and how Khalid stops him form the crux of the story of the film.
The Siddharth Anand directed film has broken all time biggest opening day record that was set by Yash Raj Films’ own Thugs of Hindostan last Diwali. Back then, their film had collected 52.25 crores on its release with the Hindi version contributing 50.75 crores.
