First day box office collection of Bala takes a heroic start. The start has been as expected as 10.15 crores came in. Bala will however depend on word of mouth and strong multiplex business to pull through and it is expected that weekend will see growth for the movie.

Bala has received a U/A certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 02.12 hours. Directed by Amar Kaushik the film has received positive reviews from both the critics and audience alike.

The Ayushmann Khurana, Bhumi Pednekar, And Yami Gautam starrer Bala has becomes the 15th highest opening day grosser of 2019 and beats Dream Girl.

Collecting 10.15 crore, Bala has emerged as the Ayushmann Khurrana's highest opening day grosser of all time and the film has beaten the collections of previous releases like, Dream Girl that collected 10.05 crore, Badhaai Ho that collected 7.35 crore, Article 15 that collected 5.02 crore, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan that collected 2.71 crore, AndhaDhun that collected 2.70 crore, and Bareilly Ki Barfi that had collected 2.42 crore.

Bala is a film that has almost all the prerequisites to make a good comedy-drama. It has hilarious and clever punch lines, an unusual plot, good screenplay, good performances and fine direction. It also has a good message at the end.
