Bob Biswas is an Indian Hindi language Crime-Thriller film. Directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh & Gaurav Verma under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment & Boundscript Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd. The film features Abhishek Bachchan & Chitrangda Singh in lead role. Bob Biswas was not released theatrically and It was released through the streaming platform on ZEE5 on 03 December, 2021 [India].

Bob Biswas is a Thriller film it has been directed by Sujoy Ghosh's daughter Diya Annapurna Ghosh and it will be her directorial debut in Bollywood. The film will be based on the life of one of the most intriguing fictional characters in Indian cinema, Bob Biswas from Vidya Balan starrer-Kahaani. Bob is an ordinary-looking, Kolkata based middle-aged man who is actually a cold-blooded contract killer and has been associated with his trademark line, "Nomoshkar, ek minute" since 2012.
The thriller drama film has been produced by none other than Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. The movie is slated to go on floors in early 2020 and will release in the same year. Abhishek Bachchan starter Bob Biswas was directly premierd on ZEE5.

This ZEE5 Original film is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation and a Boundscript Production. The film explores the life of Bob Biswas, a hitman-for-hire, who finds it difficult to recall his criminal past and experiences moral dilemma after coming out of the coma. Premiered 3rd December 2021.
(10) Bob Biswas Story / Plot:
Bob Biswas is the story of a contract killer who has lost his memory. Bob Biswas (Abhishek A Bachchan) is married to Mary Biswas (Chitrangda Singh) and has a son Benny (Ronith Arora) and daughter Mini (Samara Tijori). 8 years ago, Bob met with an accident and has been in a coma since. Bob regains consciousness but has no memory of his past life. He doesn't even recognize Mary or his children. Bob tries his best to adjust thanks to Mary who provides him with all the love and support to sail through this difficult time. Slowly, Bob forms a bond with Benny and Mini. He learns that Mini is his stepdaughter and that Mary was earlier married to David (Karanuday Jenjani). Bob married her after David passed away in an accident. One day, two police officers, Jishu Narang (Bhanu Uday Goswami) and Kharaj Sahu (Vishwanath Chatterjee), take Bob Biswas to a hideout. They inform Bob that he is a contract killer and that he has worked for them in the past. They start giving him contracts to kill people. Bob, at first, is apprehensive but he soon goes for it. His first two victims are Bubai (Purab Kohli) and Rahul (Kunal Verma), both of whom were in the business of selling a powerful and banned drug, code named 'Blue'. When Bob goes to kill Rahul, he suddenly gets flashes of his earlier life. He also realizes that David didn't die by accident but was killed. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
