The film stars Gopichand paired with Digangana Suryavanshi, Tamannaah and Bhumika Chawla. The plot follows Karthik (Gopichand), the coach of the Andhra women's Kabbadi team who seeks to win the nationals with the help of Telangana's Kabaddi coach Jwala Reddy (Tamannaah) to save his school in the village.
It features music by Mani Sharma and cinematography by Soundararajan. The film marks first collaboration of lead actors and second collaboration for Sampath Nandi and Gopichand after Goutham Nanda and third collaboration for Sampath Nandi and Tamannaah after Racha and Bengal Tiger. The film's production and released were deferred due to COVID-19 pandemic. Seetimaarr was theatrically released on 10 September 2021, coinciding with Vinayaka Chaviti.
