The movie Ikkis is a Hindi-language biographical war drama based on the true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India's youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, the country's highest military decoration for valour. He is hosted by a Pakistani officer, Brigadier Khwaja Mohammed Naser (Jaideep Ahlawat), who was actually the opposing commander during the battle where Arun died.
Unlike typical high-octane patriotic films, Ikkis is described as a poignant, anti-war drama. It focuses on the human cost of conflict and the shared grief between families on both sides of the border. The film is notable for being the final screen appearance of legendary actor Dharmendra, who passed away in late 2025.
