To authentically recreate the 1980s setting of rural Andhra Pradesh, a massive set is being constructed on the outskirts of Hyderabad, meticulously designed to resemble the town of Vizianagaram, complete with a sports stadium, railway station, and village homes. The film is being made with a massive budget that is reportedly set to exceed Rs 300 crore, making it one of the costliest Telugu films ever produced.
