Hichki is written and directed by Sidharth P Malhotra, Who previously directed We Are Family, A official remake of Hollywood flick Stepmom. Hichki is set to release on 23 March, 2018.
Rani Mukerji starrer Hichki is Producer by Maneesh Sharma under the production house Yash Raj Films and it is the 3rd production venture for him after Dum Laga Ke Haisha & Meri Pyaari Bindu.
Hichki is an adaptation of Hollywood film Front of the Class (2008), which star Jimmy Wolk, Treat Williams & Patricia Heaton but the makers has no official word from the film makers yet.
Hichki is revolving around Rani Mukerji's character Naina Mathur, who has a neurological disorder called Tourette syndrome and dreams to be a teacher. She turns her biggest weakness into her biggest strength.
Apart from this Rani Mukerji was last seen in Mardaani which was released on 22 August 2014 and produced by her husband Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Films. The film done well business at the box office. Mardaani was made a small budget of 210 million and collected 567 million at the box office.
