Saaho Budget & First Week Box Office Collection: Collects 116.03 Crore In 7 Days [Hindi]
First week box office collection of The Prabhas & Shraddha Kapoor starrer much-hyped Saaho has been doing decent business at the Box Office in hindi belt. Saaho had released on 30 August, 2019 and received negative reviews and poor ratings from the critics. Saaho has collected approx 116.03 crore in its first week in hindi belt at the domestic box office.
Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam movie Saaho is an action film starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. Prabhas is playing gray-shaded fictitious cop role. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Evelyn Sharma and Mandira Bedi are playing other important roles.
The Sujeeth-directorial venture film has collected 24.4 crore on day one, Friday. On 2nd Day, The film has collected approx 25.2 crore and its 3rd day Sunday The film has collected approx 29.48 crores. The film has collected 36.95 crore in remaining 4 days. The film collected approx 116.03 crores till now in hindi belt.
Collecting 116.03 crore, Saaho has emerged as the 4th highest opening week grosser of 2019 after Salman Khan film Bharat [158.65 crore], Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh [134.42 Crore] and Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal [128.16 Crore]. Saaho has beaten the collections of previous releases like, Kesari that collected 105.86 crore, Gully Boy that collected 100.3 crore, Total Dhamaal that collected 94.55 crore, Super 30 that collected 75.85 crore, Kalank that collected 73.7 crore, and Uri that collected 70.94 Crore.
Saaho has failed to set the Kollywood box office on fire like in other centres. The film was released in three versions across Tamil Nadu and has made an average collection in centres only in a few centres, while in many centres it could not attract cine-goers in big numbers.
The first instalment of the Baahubali series had collected 31 crore with a distributors' share of 16 crore, while the second part had grossed 62.1 crore with a distributors' share of 29.50 crore in the first week.
In Tamil Nadu, Saaho is estimated to have earned over 11.80 crore in seven days. the Tamil and Telugu versions have almost done equal business with the Hindi version making below-average collection. The net income of Saaho stands at 10 crore while the distributors' share is 6 crore.
In Andhra and Telangana, Saaho has earned 111.2 crore with a net income of 100.3 crore. Karnataka has turned out to be the second biggest centre in South India by contributing 27 crore, but it managed to earn just 3.3 crore in Kerala.
In Chennai Box Office, Saaho has collected 1.81 crore in the first weekend. On the first day, it raked in 73 lakh. The collection saw a dip on the second day as it earned around 62 lakh and the film earned 66 lakh on sunday to take its total collection to 1.81 crore.
The Tamil version has made a collection of 86 lakh, the Telugu version has collected 81 lakh, while the Hindi version could only do a business of 14 lakh in Chennai.
