Mission Mangal Budget & First Week Box Office Collection: Collects 128.16 Crore In 8 Days


Jagan Shakti directed Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi & Nithya Menon starrer Mission Mangal had released on 15 August, 2019 on Independence Day and the film has done well at the box office over the extended week. Mission Mangal has collected approx 128.16 crore in its first week (8 days) at the domestic box office.

This R. Balki & Akshay Kumar production film has collected 29.16 crore on day one, Thursday. On 2nd Day, The film has collected approx 17.28 crore and its 3rd day Saturday The film has collected approx 23.58 crores. The Akshay Kumar led film managed to collect 27.54 crores on its fourth day, Sunday. The film has collected 30.60 crore in remaining 4 days. Mission Mangal collected approx 128.16 crores till now. 

Mission Mangal is the incredible true story behind India’s mission to Mars. It shows how Rakesh Dhawan (Akshay Kumar) and Tara Shinde (Vidya Balan) together with a team of brilliant scientists successfully sent a satellite to Mars in their very first attempt, a mammoth feat achieved by no other nation. This is a tale of inspiration which shows how dreams transform into reality with a vision, the courage to pursue it and fulfill it with sheer determination.

Collecting 128.16 crore, Mission Mangal has emerged as the 3rd highest opening week grosser of 2019 after Salman Khan film Bharat [158.65 crore] And Shahid Kapoor Starrer Kabir Singh [134.42 crore]. Mission Mangal has beaten the collections of previous releases like, Kesari that collected 105.86 crore, Gully Boy that collected 100.30 crore, Total Dhamaal that collected 94.55 crore, Kalank that collected 73.70 crore, Super 30 that collected 75.85 crore, Uri that collected 70.94 crore, and De De Pyaar De that had collected 61.05 crore.

This is really good as the film was chasing with Batla House and still it has managed to exceed expectations. Mission Mangal is Akshay Kumar's fourth film in a row to have collected in upwards of 20 crores.

Mission Mangal Becomes Akshay Kumars's 2rd Highest First Week Grossing Movie Of All Time, After 2.0 [Hindi] that collected 139.75 Crore. Mission Mangal surpasses Kesari that collected 105.81 crore, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha that collected 96.05 crore, Rustom that collected 90.9 crore, Gold that collected 87.3 crore, Housefull 3 that collected Rs. 80.1 crore, Rowdy Rathore that collected 79.52 crore, AirLift that collected 78.5 crore, Jolly LLB 2 that collected 77.71 crore, and Singh Is Bliing that had collected 77.6 crore.

The Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal that was directed by Jagan Shakti released yesterday on Independence Day. Also featuring Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and Nithya Menen, the film opened on a good note.
